Pace is a calorie and nutrition tracker with an AI coach. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who it's shared with. Plain language, no surprises.
What we collect
- Account info — your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google. Used to identify your account and sign you in.
- What you log — meals (including text descriptions and photos you add), calories and macros, weight entries, goals, streaks, and points.
- Preferences — reminder settings, timezone, light/dark theme, and a web-push subscription if you enable notifications.
- Partner link — if you connect with a partner, each of you can see the other's logged data and goals.
How we use it
Only to run the app: show your day, calculate your rings and forecast, sync with your partner, power the AI coach's responses, and send the reminders you asked for. We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell it.
Who it's shared with
- Supabase — hosts the database and handles sign-in. Your account and logged data live here.
- Anthropic — when you use the AI coach or ask it to estimate a meal, the meal text or photo and relevant context (your goals, today's totals) are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. It is not used to train models.
- Vercel — hosts the application.
- Open Food Facts — barcode and food-search lookups query this open database. Only the barcode number or search term is sent.
- Google — if you choose “Continue with Google,” Google provides your email and name to create your account.
Your choices
- Turn reminders on or off at any time in the app.
- Export your data from Settings.
- Ask us to delete your account and all associated data by emailing the address below.
